<div>Hello everyone. On March 26th, my husband and I were alerted of an injured dog named Houdini due to be euthanized at Miami Dade Animal Services HQ in Doral (Greater Miami), Florida within 24 hours. Houdini - barely a year old - was suffering from injuries he suffered as a stray that were extensive and therefore impeding any chance at adoption, so we immediately sprung to action and secured his rescue the next day, in effect saving his life.

<div>Upon his rescue, Houdini was taken to Town and Country Animal Hospital - a leading veterinary facility in the area - where he began preparations for his jaw surgery, the first of several treatments that he'll receive over the next few weeks and months.
</div>

<div>Houdini's conditions are all treatable, consisting of heart worm, a right frontal paw injury, and an incomplete mandibular fracture. He's currently eating very little, likely because of the pain, but the vets are feeding him with a syringe.

<div>He’s only a year old, and it would be a tragedy if his life was impaired for injuries that are not terminal, totally treatable and can be paid for with our help. :(
</div>

<div>My husband and I will be coordinating every aspect of Houdini's treatment, as well as coordinating with rescue networks and fosters to accommodate his needs. We are pledging at least $500 to get his treatment kickstarted, but we need your help for the rest, as the Vet at the shelter estimated his treatments could cost around $8000.
