For over 20 years, Happy Go Lucky Mastiff Rescue has poured our hearts, time, and every ounce of love into saving dogs who had no one else.

We’ve healed the broken, sheltered the abandoned, and given hope to the hopeless.

But today, we’re facing something we never thought possible — the cost to keep going has become unbearable.

Vet bills have skyrocketed

Dog food and supplies cost more than ever

Donations have slowed — while the need continues to grow

We’ve stretched every dollar, dipped into our own pockets, and sacrificed more than we ever thought we could — but it’s still not enough. The stress has been overwhelming. This week, the board and I will be meeting to face a heartbreaking reality:

We may be forced to shut our doors permanently.

Just typing those words breaks our hearts. Because behind every dog’s face is a story — a story of survival, second chances, and unconditional love — stories YOU helped make possible. ❤️

We need your help now more than ever.

If you’ve ever adopted, donated, shared our posts, or cheered us on — please stand with us again.

Every single dollar, bag of food, and share makes a difference.

In addition to financial help, we urgently need:

Pine shavings

Straw

Tarps

These are essential to winterize the kennels and keep our dogs warm, dry, and safe through the cold months ahead.

Let’s not let 20+ years of saving lives end here.
