<div>Hello, my name is Ornela Lazaj, Oriada's sister and Floresha's daughter. I am starting this campaign because I need your help to raise the funds my mother and sister need to return to a normal life.

<div>On June 30th, my mother and my sister boarded the Berat–Tirana bus to come home. It was a trip they had made dozens of times.

<div>Somewhere on the Durrës–Tirana highway, they felt something was wrong. The bus was moving strangely. The driver was losing consciousness. In those few seconds, my mother and my sister did the only thing they could — they grabbed each other's hands and never let go. Not during the crash, and not after it, when my sister, trapped in the wreckage, was crying out for help, while my mother, fighting for her own life, kept calling her daughter's name...

<div>My mother, Floresha (51 years old), is the pillar of our home. A gentle, hardworking woman who has devoted her entire life to her family — always quiet, but with a love that never tires. And Oriada (27 years old) is the person who brings light into our home. She is a pediatric nurse at the "Koço Gliozheni" Hospital in Tirana. For years, with her tireless hands, Oriada has welcomed newborn babies into life, fought for their every breath, and stood as a support for their families in their hardest moments. Today, the woman who devoted her youth to saving others is fighting for her own future.

<div>My mother and my sister have suffered extremely serious injuries. Oriada's leg was amputated above the knee, while her other leg is at serious risk. Her pelvic bones have been severely damaged.

<div>My mother also lost one of her legs in the moment of the accident, which is why she needs urgent surgery, and she also has multiple rib fractures.
</div>

</div>
<div>In Albania, the doctors were wonderful — deeply humane and professional. They told us the truth, making it clear that these operations could not be performed without putting their lives at risk.
</div>

</div>
<div>That is why we had to urgently transfer them to a specialized hospital in Greece, where my mother and my sister are now fighting for their lives every single moment.
</div>

</div>
<div>This fight comes with a cost our family cannot bear alone.
</div>

</div>
<div>The emergency ambulance transport to Greece alone cost €8,000. Oriada's first surgery is €20,000 — and it will be followed by a whole series of operations, whose costs may double depending on complications. Every night in the hospital costs €500 per person — €1,000 per night for both of them — and no one can tell us how long this stay will last, because the surgeries are difficult and dangerous, and everything depends on how their recovery goes.

<div>And these are only the first expenses. We must keep in mind that this is about two people — every cost is automatically doubled for us. When the surgeries end, the road continues: prosthetics, long-term physiotherapy, and psychological support for them both. My mother and my sister will now live with the consequences of this accident forever, and their need for care and support does not end when they leave the hospital — it will accompany them for the rest of their lives. That is why no single number can capture this journey. This fund is for both of them — for my mother and for my sister — and every contribution brings us one step closer to their recovery.

<div>I am personally managing this fund, as a sister and as a daughter. Our hearts break seeing them in this condition, but we are not without hope. They are fighting with dignity every single minute, and we are fighting alongside them.

<div>Më 30 qershor, mamaja ime dhe motra ime hipën në autobusin e linjës Berat–Tiranë për t'u kthyer në shtëpi. Ishte një udhëtim që e kishin bërë me dhjetëra herë.

<div>Diku në autostradën Durrës–Tiranë, ato e ndjenë që diçka nuk shkonte. Autobusi lëvizte çuditshëm. Shoferi po humbte ndjenjat. Në ato pak sekonda, mamaja dhe motra ime bënë të vetmen gjë që mundën, kapën duart e njëra-tjetrës dhe nuk i lëshuan. As gjatë përplasjes, as pas saj, kur motra ime, mes rrënojave, thërriste për ndihmë, ndërsa mamaja, në rrezik për jetën e saj, thërriste emrin e vajzës...

<div>Mamaja ime, Floresha (51 vjeçe), është shtylla e shtëpisë sonë. Një grua e urtë, punëtore, që gjithë jetën e saj e ka vënë në shërbim të familjes, gjithmonë e heshtur por me një dashuri që nuk lodhet kurrë. Ndërsa Oriada (27 vjeçe) është personi që i jep dritë shtëpisë sonë. Ajo është infermiere pediatrie pranë Spitalit "Koço Gliozheni" në Tiranë. Për vite me radhë, me duart e saj të palodhura, Oriada ka mirëpritur në jetë fëmijë të sapolindur, ka luftuar për frymëmarrjen e tyre dhe ka qëndruar si mbështetje për familjarët në momentet e tyre më të vështira. Sot, ajo që ia kushtoi rininë shpëtimit të të tjerëve, po lufton për të ardhmen e saj.

<div>Mami dhe motra ime kanë pësuar dëmtime shumë të rënda. Oriadës iu amputua njëra këmbë në nivelin sipër gjurit, ndërsa këmba tjetër i rrezikohet seriozisht. Kockat e legenit i janë dëmtuar shumë.

<div>Po ashtu edhe mami ka humbur njërën këmbë në momentin e aksidentit dhe për këtë arsye ka nevojë urgjente për ndërhyrje, si dhe ka thyerje të shumta në brinjë.

<div>Në Shqipëri, mjekët ishin shumë të mirë dhe u treguan shumë humanë dhe të edukuar. Ata na thanë të vërtetën, duke na bërë me dije se këto ndërhyrje nuk mund të kryheshin pa rrezikuar jetën e tyre.

<div>Prandaj u detyruam t'i transportojmë urgjentisht në një spital të specializuar në shtetin grek, në të cilin mami dhe motra po luftojnë çdo moment me jetën.

<div>Kjo luftë ka një kosto që familja jonë nuk mund ta përballojë e vetme.

<div>Vetëm transporti urgjent me ambulanca drejt Greqisë kushtoi €8.000. Ndërhyrja e parë për Oriadën është €20.000 dhe pas saj vjen një seri e tërë operacionesh, kostot e të cilave mund të dyfishohen në varësi të komplikacioneve. Çdo natë qëndrimi në spital kushton €500 për person, pra €1.000 nata për të dyja — dhe askush nuk mund të na thotë sa do të zgjasë ky qëndrim, sepse operacionet janë të vështira e të rrezikshme dhe gjithçka varet nga ecuria e tyre.

<div>Dhe këto janë vetëm shpenzimet e para. Duhet të mbajmë parasysh se bëhet fjalë për dy persona, çdo kosto për ne është automatikisht dyfish. Kur operacionet të mbarojnë, rruga vazhdon: proteza, fizioterapi e gjatë, mbështetje psikologjike për të dyja. Mamaja dhe motra ime tashmë do të jetojnë përgjithmonë me pasojat e këtij aksidenti, dhe nevoja e tyre për kujdes e mbështetje nuk mbaron me daljen nga spitali, ajo do t'i shoqërojë gjithë jetën. Prandaj asnjë shifër nuk mund ta përmbledhë këtë rrugëtim. Ky fond është për të dyja, për mamanë dhe për motrën time, dhe çdo kontribut na afron një hap më pranë shërimit të tyre.

<div>Unë po e menaxhoj personalisht këtë fond si motër dhe si bijë. Na dhemb shpirti kur i shohim në atë gjendje, por nuk jemi pa shpresë. Ato po luftojnë me dinjitet çdo minutë, dhe ne bashkë me to.

<div>Ky është apeli im i sinqertë dhe i përulur për secilin prej jush. Ne kemi nevojë për ndihmën tuaj.
