<div>My name is Basam Farhan Alshaer, a husband and father from Gaza. Before the war, our lives were simple and filled with love. We had a modest home where laughter echoed, and dreams were nurtured. I worked hard to provide for my family, ensuring that my children had food on the table and hope in their hearts. Our community was close-knit, and we found joy in the little things—shared meals, children's play, and the warmth of our neighbors.

My children wake up crying from nightmares, and I feel helpless, unable to provide the comfort they so desperately need.
