<div>Hi everyone. My name is Maame Forson, and I am reaching out for help because my family is facing an unimaginable challenge. One week after I graduated from Harvard, my 24-year-old older brother Kweku was rushed to the emergency room. After a lot of blood work and pathology, he was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and spent 3 weeks in the hospital to stabilize. He since came home before being sent back to the hospital for another 2 week stay.

<div>He graduated from Hunter College with a degree in Human Biology 2 years ago and just finished his first of two years for his Masters in Public Health focused on Epidemiology. At just 24 years old, he should be focused on building his future—pursuing dreams and living a full, vibrant life. Instead, he is facing the battle of his life. The weight of medical bills, caregiving needs, and daily living costs has pushed our family to a breaking point.
