<div>My friend Gemma is in urgent need of our help. She has been facing employment struggles for 5 months and she's running out of time.
</div>

<div>Gemma is one of the hardest workers I know. She has a great resume and glowing recommendations. She has been looking for work tirelessly: applying for all jobs in the social work field, and doing job shadows for jobs that don't end up hiring her. She's had so many leads that have ended up nowhere.

<div>The job market has been awful, as many of us know; many of us also know that trans women face really serious job discrimination.
</div>

<div>Gemma is an incredibly kind, selfless person, who's faced and survived a lot of hardship in her life. She gives so much of herself to her recovery, and I've never met anyone who shows up for her community the way Gemma does. Her natural ability to provide care for those around her inspires the work that she does (and constantly inspires me too).
