Urgent Help To Stop a Family's Eviction

Hi,

My name is Paula. I have set up this fundraising page to try and help a lone-parenting mother of two, who is about to be evicted from their home due to rent arrears. She is a dedicated mother who has worked various jobs since settling in the UK as a refugee fleeing war. Since Covid she has amassed some rent arrears which has spiral and now the council is seeking possession of her home she shares with her two children age 10 and 17 yrs old. Her eviction is set for tomorrow 10 am. (Bailiff extended the date to 8/10/24). I am asking every one to pitch in any amount they can even £5 because if enough people chip in she can make it. Please share this with your friends and family so we can all prevent another mother from becoming homeless in London.

All the money we raise will go towards the arrears and reappearance in county court (next week) to try and get the order lifted

I could add much more about her personal circumstances in order to get sympathy/empathy but I would risk publicly identifying and embarrassing this family. It is not my intention to embarrass her and her children. I am asking everyone to imagine for a minute, if this were you would you want others to help?
