Update 22.01.2025: Nury was discharged from the hospital after 20 days of hospitalization. She return to Colombia with a medical repatriation. Today she is recovering with her friends and family in Bogotá. Thanks to your support we manage to raise CHF 1250 for Nury's recovery. -Thank you!

On the 28.12 our beloved Nury traveled all the way from Colombia to Switzerland to enjoy a special holiday with us. However, what was meant to be a joyful trip quickly turned into a nightmare when she fell critically ill with sepsis—a life-threatening condition that can take someone’s life in just days.

After 17 difficult days in the hospital filled with pain, uncertainty, and fear, Nury is still fighting. But thanks to the dedicated doctors and nurses at Triemli Hospital, on January 16, 2025, they were able to identify the source of the sepsis. By the following day, she was able to begin the treatment she so desperately needed. While she is no longer in critical condition, she remains in the hospital, deeply grateful for the chance to survive.

Nury comes from a humble background in Colombia, and the funds will support her as she continues her recovery journey back home, surrounded by the love and care of her family.
