<div>We are organizing this fundraiser to support a hard working Long Island immigrant family seeking a better future, but now facing a difficult situation. Olvin, a restaurant worker and main provider for his family, was detained by ICE agents in Uniondale, while preparing to take the children to school. Together, we need to fight to do everything possible to bring joy back to this family experiencing great financial hardship. Olvin's family consists of his wife, Kenia, 8-year-old Jeery, and 6-year-old Olvin Jr., both of whom have had health problems since they were very young. Olvin and Jeery suffer from asthma and sleep apnea, have undergone surgeries on their throat, nose, and ears, and experience severe asthma attacks at least once a week requiring medical attention.
