UPDATE:

unfortunately my baby girl had to be put down 2/16/25 at 1am….

I am beyond heartbroken and empty. I feel like my entire world and heart is shattered… i appreciate everyone who donated and I was able to schedule my girl for an appointment with a neurologist on Thursday but unfortunately we never got answers.

I understand to those who want their money back because I did only ask for assistance to get her further treatment…. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you would like your refund. This money will be used to go towards the medical expenses that we did have to pay for her treatment and passing. I missed so many days of work due to trying to save my baby so the donations will be a huge help. Again though if you would like a refund please please let me know and I have no problem refunding! To those who are okay with me keeping the money and using them to pay the credit cards back that we used to take care of her the best we can, thank you so so much… all of it will go back to paying what was used for my baby girl.

Hello everyone, my name is Lisa. I’m 29 years old and have been a cat lover since I can remember. I have a special cat that I have now had for 8 years… she is my world and my biggest reason for living. She’s in tune with me to a degree that I have never seen with an animal. Unfortunately, within the last few days, she became sick and I took her to a vet 3 days in a row and was given no relief to her after $1,000 spent. I was also expressing to the vet that I believed she was possibly having seizures, and they insisted she was only constipated. Last night, 2/14/25, after coming home from work, she was experiencing those seizure-like episodes too frequently, to where it was incredibly concerning. Unfortunately, during one of her “episodes,” she went crazy, to say the least. I don’t even know how to describe it, but it was the scariest thing I ever witnessed. She was hissing and drooling uncontrollably… she lost control of her bowels and urine and was fighting us, more than likely because she was so scared. I’ve never heard a cat make the noises she made, and I never felt so much fear that my baby wasn’t going to make it. We took her to an ER animal clinic, who thankfully admitted her so quickly and diagnosed her with seizures as well. I’m beyond frustrated that I brought up my concern about seizures to a vet that completely ignored my concerns and manipulated me to believe it was only “constipation.” Obviously, the cost of the initial vet visits to now the ER vet is high. If further treatment is needed, that will be another high expense. The doctors say her protein level is high, indicating this could possibly be from an infection. They also expressed that seeing a neurologist and performing more tests is the main priority.

One thing about me a lot of people know is that asking for help is something I’ve always struggled with. Right now, I’m at a point where I need help more than ever before…. I can’t live with the thought of not at least trying to help my cat.

If anyone would be so generous as to help my family and me with these upcoming expenses, I would be beyond grateful. I know money is tight for basically everyone right now, and it may not be possible, but I also believe in the power of prayers. My baby girl needs all the prayers she can get. I want to do everything in my power to save my baby girl and give her a fighting chance. Seizures are manageable in animals and humans… her life shouldn’t be over due to this unfortunate diagnosis. I am hopeful this is only an infection and it can be treated with antibiotics, but we also need to get her the proper testing to find out if it is something more.

Any amount, big or small, would be an absolute gift to my family and me as we move forward with this attempt to save and help my baby girl. My reason for living. My strength through the toughest times in my life. My sweet Kitty
