Urgent help needed for flood affected people in Bangladesh!

Dear Kind People,

Some of you might know it from the news and social media that Bangladesh has been heavily affected by the flood. Up until now, 8 out of 64 districts has been heavily affected and 1.9 million people were left stranded because of this unfortunate events. It is expected to be worse and effect other districts due to heavy rainfall in the coming days and upstream floods.

Almost all of the people in these regions live below poverty line. Many of these people have lost their lands, houses, cattle, already cultivated lands which will leave a long term effect on their basic rights of food and shelter. Almost all of the families are currently suffering from lack of food, safe drinking water and proper medicine.

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart asking for the donation for the flood affected families in Bangladesh. Even a small amount of kindness will be able to help them a long way in order to recover from the extreme loss and save them from dying due to starvation.

All of the proceed will 100% go to the flood effected people in different areas of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is my home country. It's a place where I grew up until I left for study abroad. I started this fundraising because I felt the need to help my country people in this disastrous moment. I felt like they were urgent need of help but only my donations were not enough for them. But, there were people around me in abroad who were willing to help but didn't know how or where to give the donation. So, I wanted to be a bridge between both parties and became the trusted source for donations. I contacted the people who were reliable social media figures and friends from different local areas of Bangladesh who were also working actively to raise donations and helping out the flood affected people personally.

The funds will be used for basic needs like water, food, medicine, survival kits etc supplies for the flood affected people. I am going to transfer the money via an app called 'Tap Tap Send' where they will get the money in their own currency.

I have submitted all of your donations to various local people of the affected areas who are working personally in order to help the flood affected people. Majority of them are targeting to help people who usually are hard to reach due to poor communication system in certain areas. They are working tirelessly in order to help the people who usually don't get help in general as it is very difficult for others to reach those certain rural areas.
