Our lease is not being renewed by the landlord, and after living here for six years, this news has turned our world upside down.

<div>Life has been incredibly difficult recently. Balancing full-time caregiving for my son at home due to not having nursing care ( we have been struggling almost a year trying to find a nurse for him

<div>so I can work) while trying to find consistent income has left us struggling. Despite my best efforts, even going to court trying to fight this landlord, I have lost. I have reached out to churches, but funding is very low in today’s world and housing is closed. I have reached out to 211 as well, I am looking into many resources. I have exhausted so many.

<div>Emotionally and mentally, this is overwhelming—leaving the only stable home we’ve known, trying to find a place suitable for my son’s medical needs, and making sure we don’t lose our sense of safety and stability. I also have a few beloved cats who are part of our family and whom I don’t want to leave behind.
