A dear friend, who shall remain anonymous for her safety, of over 15 years needs immediate help.

She is an Atlanta-based mom of a young, special needs son and needs to leave an environment in which she doesn't feel safe as soon as possible.

Several years ago, she and her husband agreed that she would drastically cut back on work hours to care for their child who needs constant supervision and various types of therapy. Any money she made went to family expenses, so she doesn’t have money saved. Her husband has since gotten into drugs, has been increasingly combative and emotionally abusive.

This woman is an incredibly loving and doting mom whose sole focus is providing a safe and healthy home for her son.

We are hoping to raise funds for her immediate needs as she starts her new life.
