<div>I never imagined I would have to write something like this.

<div>My mum travelled to Turkey from Manchester for what was meant to be a relaxing family holiday with her family  but things took a devastating turn. She suddenly became critically ill and was rushed to hospital, where doctors discovered she had a ruptured appendix and a perforated stomach.

<div>She had to undergo emergency, life-saving surgery and is now in intensive care. We are so grateful she made it through the operation, but she is still very unwell and has a long recovery ahead.
</div>

<div>Once she is stable, she will be moved to a ward where she must stay for at least 5 days, followed by another 10–12 days before she is fit to fly home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The hardest part is that her insurance does not cover this, and the hospital requires £15,000 to be paid before she can be discharged.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a family, we are doing everything we can, but we simply cannot manage these unexpected costs alone. That’s why I’m reaching out for help.

<div>We are trying to raise funds to cover her emergency medical treatment and help bring her safely back home where she belongs.
