Hey all, it’s Vern. I wouldn’t be doing this unless I was absolutely sure I cannot do anything else. I have not had heat in my home since December 1st, the car is officially totaled and in order to get another vehicle I have to pay off my other vehicle that was also totaled. I still have a way to get to my job, however I need to get another vehicle. These funds will be used to pay the $600+ tow fee and storage (which accrues daily) for my vehicle, getting oil in the tank to heat my home so I don’t have to use space heaters which are costing me $400+ a month in electric to run to keep my house at an average of 58°. This will also help with paying my off the remainder of my other vehicle so I can get anything. (About $1500) and help with a small down payment on a used vehicle. This all started with me losing my job back in October. Since I lost my job then, I do not have current health insurance, and I make too much at my job to qualify for state insurance in PA ($18.50) EVEN with a documented disability. I have not been on my mental health meds consistently in months either due to having to pay out of pocket for my psych visits. I know this is a lot, and I’m sorry for asking, but I don’t know what else to do.
