Hello! My name is Haley Perez & I’m doing this Go Fund Me drive for my sister-in-law & nephews. As anyone who knows me is aware of, I’m extremely selective about any charity drives that I share. This is actually the 1st one that I’ve ever organized. But I’m a firm believer of justice & decency, as well as people being responsible for their obligations. And through this fundraiser I hope to help my sister-in-law pay for legal fees that will ensure proper child support as well as give her some basic money to start over with.

I apologize for the somewhat intimate details I’m sharing but I don’t know any other way to explain the situation adequately. This past year my sister-in-law discovered her husband was being unfaithful & he moved out of the family home as a result. He sporadically has provided support since then. However she discovered a week ago that he has not paid the mortgage in almost a year & their home is being auctioned off in less than 2 weeks.

Tina & her husband have been together for almost 20 years & have 3 sons together. My oldest nephew is a great young man who graduated high school last year & is responsible for his own home needs while also attending college & working. He dreams of becoming a dentist. Tina’s other sons have chronic illnesses. My 14 yr old nephew has Type 1 diabetes & my 10 yr old nephew has epilepsy. Both of these conditions require expensive medical costs & my sister-in-law herself has high medical costs due to her rheumatoid arthritis. Despite these daily challenges, my sister-in-law (a stay at home mother caring for her sons with their medical conditions) now has less than 2 weeks to figure out how to move her sons out of their family home & move them across to another state since they only moved to Arizona 2 years ago due to her husband’s job transfer. They will be leaving their new school & their friends, leaving their home in such an abrupt manner & dealing with the emotional & physical effects of a broken home that they didn’t deserve. This will be the 2nd move in 2 years since they moved there in order to support their husband/father with his job aspirations.

Through this fundraiser I hope to be able to provide my sister-in-law & her children the funding necessary to obtain an attorney as well as some basic funding to pay for groceries & housing until such time as the attorney can obtain the adequate child support. I appreciate any support you can give, whether that is monetary or by sharing this Go Fund Me. Also if you have connections with a good attorney in Arizona or New Mexico, I work really appreciate any recommendations you could provide.
