I am currently working on finishing my credential program to become a special education teacher, but being a full-time student and student teacher doesn't leave any time for making money. The only thing getting us by lately has been being able to use my vehicle for food delivery, which gives us a chance to pay for gas and some bills. However, that is now not happening due to recent problems with the car.

I was already due for maintenance because both the oil and the check engine light had come on recently in the car, but I have had no money to put towards it. After the accident, the car started losing gas much faster, and we were afraid there was a gas leak. We stopped driving the car because we were told it could be dangerous. <strong>There is a $1,000 deductible to pay to get my car fixed, and it is in desperate need of an oil change.</strong> Due to not being able to make money the last couple of weeks, we are also behind on rent, and my bank account is -$50.
