My name is McKenna Berry, a senior at Appleton North High School and this is my dog Oliver (Ollie). He is only 5 years old, yet at his vet appointment today (feb. 13) we were told he suddenly went blind in both eyes. Because of this, he is struggling around the house and is very cautious. I will need to take him to an optometrist in Madison. The prices for gas, appointments and treatment is a lot to handle especially with my parents getting a divorce. I live 100% with my mom, but with finances the way they are right now, we are barely keeping our heads above water. Although Ollies treatments wont reverse his blindness, they help check to make sure nothing is painful for him, doing regular check ups on his eyes, and if anything goes wrong in the future, that we have a doctor to go to.
