Urgent Help for Mom's Medical Emergency

DO NOT TELL MY MOM ABOUT THIS SHE WILL BE SO EMBARRASSED!!! Hello our names our Jeffrey , Sarah , Kristina and David WE are fundraising on behalf of my mother. She has cellulitis that has progressed into a deep, infected wound on her foot. Today she was rushed into the emergency room after severe complications from this infection began. The emergency room doctors told us that if she does not seek immediate medical attention from a wound specialist, this infection could be detrimental to her health and quality of life. The wound is quickly spreading towards her bone, and if it reaches her bone amputation will be necessary to save her life. Unfortunately, this year she was kicked off of Medicaid and she is unable to enroll in the health insurance through her employer until November. My mom is the backbone of our family. She has always been the person to hold us all together. She has worked her entire life to make sure her 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and all her loved ones were safe and happy. Our family is hurting watching our mom live every day in so much pain without being able to help. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my mom ask for help once, she has always been the person to work hard to figure it out herself. I want to be able to help the woman who has helped me my entire life. I know she would see something like this to be embarrassing but I know she is loved by so many and there are people out there that want to make sure she is healthy and happy.
