Maysoon’s story is one of unimaginable hardship, but it is also a call for compassion and support.

<div>Maysoon was born with severe physical and cognitive impairments. Simple daily tasks that many take for granted are monumental challenges for her. The current conditions in Gaza put her particularly at risk. Sheltering in a tent in Khan Younis, her body cannot tolerate the heat, and her condition makes it difficult to sleep on the hard ground. The overwhelming stress of war has exacerbated her suffering and left her unable to access basic necessities.

Her condition demands a strict treatment and a carefully controlled diet, yet the shortage of essential medicines and the scarcity of clean water and nutritious food make her survival increasingly precarious. Her family is doing everything they can, but the specialized care and medical supplies she needs are currently beyond their financial means.
