My dear friend, a widowed woman of 35 years, is facing an incredibly challenging time. She just recently had a hip replacement, has a milestone 80th birthday this week, and is the sole caregiver for her adult daughter with intellectual disabilities. Despite my own best efforts, I have exhausted my personal resources, and time is running out—there are fewer than 30 days to reach our goal.
