Urgent help for Guatemalan community

I am raising money on behalf of the kindest, most selfless and generous family who once opened their home to me, and many others, whilst travelling in Guatemala. Chonita and her beautiful family, like many others during this time, are struggling to cover the bare necessities. With the tourism industry grinding to a halt and their main source of income being directly impacted by covid 19 Chonita and her community are in need of small donations to maintain their land, keep up payments on their houses and to be able to continue to feed their children. I know it is a difficult time for everyone but if you could spare any money for me to send across to them it would be deeply appreciated. I can assure you 100% of the amount raised will go to Chonita and her family and I have no doubt in my mind that she will spread the funds across her community too, helping those around her that need it most.

"Hello friends! I am a 30-year-old woman, married and we have 2 children (7 and 3 years old). Before the pandemic, our lives were one of constant struggle from day to day, we live in Posadas Mayas and my husband worked in a Musical Group.
Now during these 7 months of National calamity, we have been without work and it is very difficult to generate money and there are no jobs. We cannot leave our villages in search of an opportunity to work. Everything has changed!
We are very sad because we can no longer pay the house that we made 5 years ago. Now we owe 5 more years to complete the 10 years of credit, but now it is very difficult with the bank to pay you monthly. Our fear is losing the house, the house we had dreamed of for a better and good future for our children. We were doing well. Because our plans were to pay for the house taking advantage of the fact that our children are still small and then only think about their studies.
We want to touch your heart and the doors of your house so that you can help us. Believe us that it will be very helpful for us, helpful in paying for our food and to be able to solve our house repayments. Also with your help we can help our family, friends and neighbours in our community. Since now we are all of limited resources. We appreciate the opportunity of our foreign friend who has given us this space to express our needs on this page. Hola amigos! Soy una Mujer de 30 años de edad, casada y tenemos 2 hijos (de 7 y de 3 años de edad). Antes de la pandemia nuestras vidas era de lucha constante de día a día, dábamos Posadas Mayas y mi esposo trabajaba en un Grupo Musical. Ahora durante estos 7 meses de Calamidad Nacional hemos estado sin trabajo y es muy difícil de Generar dinero y no hay empleos. No podemos salir de nuestros pueblos en busca de una oportunidad para trabajar. Todo ha cambiado! Estamos muy tristes porque ya no podemos pagar la Casa que hemos hecho hace 5 años., ahora debemos 5 años más todavía para completar los 10 años de Crédito, pero ahora es muy difícil con el Banco pagarle mensualmente. Nuestro miedo es Perder la Casa, casa que habíamos soñado para un mejor y buen futuro de nuestros hijos. Íbamos bien. Porque nuestros planes era pagar la casa aprovechando que nuestros hijos son pequeños aún y después solo pensar en sus estudios. Queremos tocarles el Corazón y las puertas de sus casa para que puedan ayudarnos. Creánnos que será de mucha ayuda para nosotros de nuestra alimentación y poder solventar nuestro Crédito. También con su ayuda podemos ayudar a nuestros familiares, amigos y vecinos de nuestra comunidad. Ya que ahora estamos de escasos recursos.
