Fatima Rodriguez-Hernandez, sister of my dear friend Erica Hernandez, unexpectedly suffered a serious stroke in the evening of Monday 1/27. She is currently in a coma and needing round-the-clock medical attention. Fatima is a mother of 4 children in Mexico, with her husband working in the United States, so she is caring for her children on her own right now. The medical expenses are estimated to be 85,000 pesos / $4200 USD daily, and she will not receive the medical care she so desperately needs to survive unless she is able to make payment. Fatima’s family is doing everything they can to make payment, but will greatly need help.
