Hello everyone, my name is Makennly Simmons. I'm 18 years old and I'm trying to raise money for my mom (Deborah Brown) and my 3 younger siblings (5, 8, 14), who I live 6 hours away from.

On Monday, 12-2-24, my mom had an argument with her ex-husband. He beat her up pretty bad, broke her nose, strangled her, and gave her a concussion. My little sister Kylie (14) just so happened to stay home from school and walked into the fight. She tried to get my mom's ex-husband (Justin Perkins) off of my mom, and he slammed her against the wall and choked her as well. He threatened to kill them if they called the cops. He took their phones and purses and stole the car, driving all the way to Georgia. Thank God I was able to track him via the car tracker through the dealership, and he is in custody as of Tuesday, 12-3-24.

My mom and siblings are in desperate need of help to pay rent, get food, and also find a way to Carrollton, Georgia, to get her car and belongings out of impound. This includes their phones, credit cards, and medications.

Please help my family through these rough times.
