Hello we are Cairo's Cat Rescue and Rehoming Champions located in Cairo, Egypt. Our rescuers works tirelessly to save as many cats as possible from the streets. We currently have over 280 cats and 3 dogs in our care. Most of our cats come to us injured or in need of urgent medical help from being neglected and thrown out in the street. Cats used to be worshipped in Egypt but that is sadly no longer the case. Each month we have massive medical bills to treat our animals and to make sure that they are fully vaccinated, spayed, neutered, microchipped and FIV/Felv tested. We also have to pay our rent and the wonderful staff who care for our animals every day, along with food and litter to keep them healthy. In addition to vet bills the cost of animal food has gone up in Egypt over 400% because of the world economic problems. Once fit and ready to travel our cats are ready for adoption and can travel to the UK, EU, Canada and USA. Please help us to reach our goal so we can get these cats and kittens the treatments and help needed to survive by moving on and hopefully be able to find love in their forever homes. Please donate don't ignore them, if you can help them. Don't assume someone will come along and your help is not needed.
