My name is Kang Hwi Bae, I go by Brian. Today, on Wednesday, August 13th, my house burned down from a fire. I lived here with a family of three and a dog. We are now attempting to find a hotel. The nearest hotel has given us three days to stay. Our plans beyond that are not clear and we have no immediate place to reside after these three days.

Update on 8/17, We have managed to obtain a hotel room for a total of 11 days. We are working everyday to find new housing. All donations to this fundraiser will contribute to finding us new housing which includes the deposit, agent fee, and replacing essential items, such as cooking utensils, supplies for our dog, and food for the time being.
