<div>Hello everyone, my husband has been diagnosed with sigmoid diverticulitis with contained pericolonic perforation and has been connected to antibiotics through the midline at home since June. Unfortunately he has been in and out of the hospital since and has not been unable to return to work or daily life activities. I have been at home taking on the role of his primary caretaker connecting him to medications, helping him complete daily tasks, and making foods specific to the diet doctors have put him on, leaving me unable to also return to work and provide for our family. We are doing everything we can, but the bills are piling up — medical costs, utilities, rent, and daily essentials. It’s overwhelming, and we could really use a helping hand right now.

<div>Hola a todos, a mi esposo le diagnosticaron diverticulitis sigmoidea con perforación pericolónica contenida y desde junio ha estado recibiendo antibióticos por vía intravenosa en casa. Lamentablemente, ha estado ingresando y saliendo del hospital desde entonces y no ha podido volver al trabajo ni a sus actividades cotidianas. He estado en casa asumiendo el papel de su cuidadora principal, proporcionándole medicamentos, ayudándolo con las tareas diarias y preparando comidas específicas según la dieta que le han recetado los médicos, lo que me ha impedido volver al trabajo y mantener a nuestra familia. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible, pero las facturas se acumulan: gastos médicos, servicios públicos, alquiler y artículos de primera necesidad. Es abrumador, y nos vendría muy bien una mano amiga ahora mismo. Si pueden donar algo, aunque sea una pequeña cantidad, significaría muchísimo para nosotros.
