2024/2025 has been a year of deep change and unexpected turns: from personal growth to economic challenges. ( Helene economic struggle)

Through it all, I remain humbled and grateful to be part of a community that truly supports one another.

Last week, I was in a car accident that completely totaled my vehicle. By God’s grace, I walked away unharmed and my kids weren’t with me. For that, I praise the Lord.

But the story of resilience doesn’t start there.

In December 2024, my SUV broke down, and the repair costs were higher than the car’s value so we had to let it go. I then began using our older 2010 family car until I was able to purchase a used VW Tiguan this spring. Unfortunately, after just three months, that car’s motor gave out, and the repair costs were over $2,500+ more than I could manage.

So, once again, I returned to our original family hatchback… and just this past weekend, that vehicle was totaled in the accident.

Now, with just two weeks until school starts for my kids, and I find myself without a car and in urgent need of reliable transportation.

Thankfully, I’ve connected with a trustworthy mechanic who is willing to help source and install a new motor at an affordable cost.
