Hello dear frineds,

I’m Zahra, 20 years old, from the northern Gaza Strip. I was studying at Al-Aqsa University, majoring in “Network Technology and Mobile Phones”. I was at the beginning of my second year of university. To improve myself more, I joined a course called "Designing and Programming a Personal Website" and I’ve received a certificate for it. I also joined the UXUi Designer course. I was very excited to work harder in my studies and achieve my dream and be the owner of the title (Engineer Zahra).

But.. October 7th came and I could not complete my university studies because of this cruel, cursed and fierce war. The occupation came and took everything from us. Our home, our university, and my joy in my engagement -because it’s a new life for me-, I lost many friends and relatives too! We literally lost everything we owned!

In this war, my family and I were displaced for 4 times. Each time we tasted the same pain, fatigue, humiliation, fear, hunger, cold and anxiety so that we could not sleep at night! And the days passed to the point that we had no enough food and we were dying of cold! But God does not abandon his servant, but rather provides him with good people like you, So our lives can change for the better because of you and your generous support!

Ahmad, the love of my life, my life partner, my fiancé! He also lost his home -It's our home that's supposed to bring us together and that we've always dreamed of to make our dreams come true together- but the occupation had another opinion. He also lost his work, which is his only source of income. And he lost his sisters' husbands im this genocide, and many of his close friends!

We are now scattered, living in tents on the roads -Which does not protect from the heat of the sun nor from the cold of winter!

This war kept us away from each other and made each one of us now with his family! So, You are my only hope to help me reunite with my fiance!

With every day we live, the daily news we hear is that we are losing our family and the dearest people to our hearts, one after the other. Loss has become a basic thing that haunts every family in Gaza But we only say, "To God we belong and to Him we shall return."

We created this link because we don’t want to be just numbers, we don’t want to die here in Gaza, so we need your urgent help to survive this genocide, me and my life partner, so that we can reunite and rebuild our lives that were destroyed by war again!

Hi, my name is Paloma and I’m organizing this fundraiser to help Zahra and Ahmed with their daily expenses, for themselves and their families. The situation is really dire in Gaza without the appropriate food, shelter, clothing — on top of the constant bombardment and loss around them. This fundraiser is to help provide them with season appropriate clothing, cover all housing costs (including materials needed) and to help provide them a way to afford the extremely expensive food/items needed for daily survival.
