<div><strong>Carrefour Feuilles (Port-au-Prince Haiti) plagued by attacks by armed bandits</strong>

<div>For several weeks, Carrefour Feuilles has been under constant attack by armed gangs who loot, kill, rape women and set houses on fire. Thousands of peaceful residents had to flee their homes with only what they had on their backs. More than 70 artists of all categories: painters, sculptors, musicians, dancers had to flee. Their workshops were destroyed. They lost everything: production tools, musical instruments, etc.

<div>Carrefour Feuilles is a neighborhood of Port-au-Prince with several thousand inhabitants, including many great artists and sculptors such as Lyonel St. Eloi, well known in Haiti and abroad. Carrefour Feuilles is a cultural richness of Haiti; we must not lose it. Let's support these artists and their families. <div>Depuis plusieurs semaines, Carrefour Feuilles est constamment attaqué par des bandes armées qui pillent, tuent, violent des femmes et mettent le feu aux maisons. Des milliers de citoyens paisibles de la zone ont dû fuir leur domicile avec seulement ce qu’ils avaient sur le dos. Plus de 70 artistes de toutes catégories : peintres, sculpteurs, musiciens, danseurs ont dû s’enfuir. Les ateliers ont été détruits. Ils ont tout perdu : outils de production, instruments de musique, etc.

<div>Carrefour Feuilles est un quartier de Port-au-Prince de plusieurs milliers d’habitants dont de nombreux grands artistes et sculpteurs tel que Lyonel St. Eloi, bien connu en Haïti et à l'étranger. Carrefour Feuilles est une richesse culturelle d’Haïti, on ne doit pas le perdre. Soyons solidaire avec ces artistes et leurs familles.
