We are asking for urgent help for a family in our neighborhood who had their power shut off today.

Through a series of tragedies over the past few months, including cancer treatments, multiple retina detachment surgeries, a major heart attack, and loss of employment, this family of a disabled veteran has struggled tremendously to keep their heads above water. They have 3 children at home with various intensive special needs and have exhausted all their resources and have no extended family that can/will help.

At this moment, we just want to get power turned back on so they have heat and a refrigerator before all their food spoils. I'd like to keep them anonymous if possible, but this family is in desperate need and any contribution is deeply appreciated.
