Update - based on test findings and veterinary advice about quality of life, we made the difficult decision to put Chase down today. We still appreciate and welcome any donations as we have stacked up quite the bill with everything thats been going on with him.
Help Us Save Chase — Emergency Surgery After Bladder Rupture
Our sweet 7-year-old husky, Chase, has been fighting for his life. After 2 weeks of unusual symptoms — weight loss, lethargy, vomiting water, and increased urination, we got testing done and they found a bladder infection. As of last night, he stopped peeing altogether — we rushed him to the vet. We learned he had a dangerous urinary blockage, likely from stones or infection. But during emergency care, the vets discovered his bladder had already ruptured.
This is life-threatening and requires emergency surgery right away to save him. We've nearly maxed out our Care Credit and are doing everything we can to give Chase a fighting chance, but the costs are quickly exceeding what we can manage alone.
Chase is family. He’s loyal, loving, and has been with us through thick and thin. If you’re able to help — any amount at all — it would mean the world to us. Every dollar goes directly to his surgery, hospitalization, and recovery care.
Please share if you can. Thank you so much for your love and support.
