Hey everyone, I am setting up this Go Fund me on behalf of my friend, who wants to remain anonymous.

For the last 3 years, they have been in crisis mode. They lost a good friend and fell into a deep depression, and as a result had multiple stays in psychiatric hospitals. This means they were unable to work and earn money during all of last year. The healthcare system has made it very difficult for them to receive adequate care, additionally they were subjected to mistreatment and neglect during one of the hospital stays. As a result, they are still not where they need to be to go back to work. The lack of financial stability is putting ongoing pressure on them, worsening their mental health even more.

Due to all of this, my friend was not able to pay their electricity bills for almost a year in 2023.

Today, the provider cut the electricity because they couldn't pay for entire year in one single payment. Installment payment was rejected 5 times. The provider is not listening to them and does not care.

They urgently need our help to come up with the full amount of 1700€ so they can pay off their debt and have electricity back ASAP!!

I know a lot of people are in crisis and struggling financially these days, but if you have any coin to spare at all, please consider helping out my friend. I love them and it has been heartbreaking to see them struggle this much just to access basic financial aid and care that we all should be entitled to. Please, please help me help them at least this much so they can refocus their strength on getting better and back on their feet.
