Hi name is Lizzie.. its hard for me to ask for help but i am honestly desperate at this point and i cant wait much longer to get the matter taken care of as it could take my girl out of my life far too soon.. but anyways.. a couple years ago a run down, tired, malnourished and sweet souled girl dog decided that she would trust me to take her in and love her for the remainder of her lifetime.

I was told by a bystander that she was living in an abandoned run down garage and being used for breeding and that her puppies were taken away far too soon to even survive on their own. At the time i wasn’t really in a time of my life where i ever expected myself to end up with a dog, i couldn’t much take care of myself much less a pet. But i knew anything could be better than what she was going through at the time and we made it work. I got her back to looking whole and happy again… she is definitely the best thing that has happened to me. As i am doing much better in life i still am having troubles with funds considering i have bills and also her being a pit, she has a lot of allergies, skin problems and is prone to much more than i ever would have thought. Not too long ago after her heat cycle i noticed some things that scared me alot (i googled the symptoms) and so i had no choice but to bring her into the emergency vet in maple grove. Long story short, it was supposedly nothing life threatening but could be before long. Well, we left leaving me in a bill totaling thousands that i still am working on paying off. The problem i am worried about is her getting what is called Pyometra. Pyometra is a life-threatening uterine infection that causes the uterus to fill with pus and bacteria. It's a secondary infection caused by hormonal changes in the female reproductive tract. pyometra is often caused by hormonal changes that thicken the uterine lining, creating an environment for bacteria growth. And terrifyingly she has started the early on signs of just that. So i would like to get her taken care of and fixed asap but i cant do it without some help and unfortunately i don’t have anyone in my life that i personally know to be able to help us out… mama LOVES people soooooo much. She would LOVE to meet anyone who is interested. (Only human friends, not a fan of dog friends) She thrives off of human attention and she has no reason to even care for people at all considering the way she was treated before i took her in.
