Urgent Care for Macy: Donate for Her Recovery

Hi there!

As most of you know, my dad passed away in 2016 where I shortly fell into a poor state of mind, avoiding anything and everything that could’ve reminded me of him. This caused me to become a hermit to my own life and did more harm than good.

Later in 2016, I met this spunky puppy at work who was estimated to be around 4 months old. Her name from the rescue was Macy. She had no manners, was a wild child and couldn’t walk on a leash without losing her mind, but oh boy, she was so sweet and affectionate towards humans, stealing a kiss wherever she could. She caught my eye and I brought her home within the week! She saved me and created a life full of laughter and happy memories.

After many years of training, building an unbreakable bond and traveling together, she’s reached 8.5 years old. I noticed she started slowing down and it just broke my heart to come to terms with the fact that she is aging.

Recently I noticed her limping and acting in pain, immediately I freaked out. After seeing the Vet, we’re in the process of treating a CCL tear in her leg. As quickly as I want to help her get all the medical attention she needs, I am extremely limited on what I can do for her care due to funds.

Since this is an unexpected situation, it wasn’t something I was able to prepare and save up for, therefore not something I have accessible right now. This is where I ask you, if you happen to have anything, anything at all to help us care for my girl I will be forever grateful to you. I cannot imagine her being in pain long enough for me to finally save up to get her the procedure(s) she needs. If you cannot donate, please do not feel guilty or bad! A share will help out so much!
