I'm raising funds for Corrin Dubinsky. She is a single lady who needs help with her adopted dog's veterinary bill for tests and procedures desperately needed. She is feeling both defeated and overwhelmed and could really use some financial help.
I met Corrin when she worked at Melissa's Menagerie where sweet Marjorie and other A&F dogs were being boarded.
Corrin is a single lady and dog mom who works full-time but is also taking classes for her bachelor's degree.
My heart breaks for everything she is going through trying to balance her time and resources effectively.
Corrin has spent thousands of dollars thus far and still has further tests needed. Her dog Marjorie was diagnosed with diabetes and has been receiving insulin at increasing dosages over time (currently 22 units twice a day). Unfortunately, Marj is now blind; this may be a result of her diabetes or another underlying issue.
Corrin takes Marj in for another UA on Tuesday and will have some tough choices on how to proceed. Being considered are an ACTH test, an ultrasound with a mobile vet, and a liver biopsy to check for cancer.
She needs to proceed with the recommended tests quickly to have a better picture of what all is at play, so that she can decide the best course of action to secure a better quality of life for them both.
Marjorie and Corrin both have been through so much, so I'm praying this GoFundMe can help.
If anyone can donate, I know it would be greatly appreciated!
Corrin's vet informed me all the tests needed could run about $2,000 (depending on if a biopsy is needed or not).
