<div>This is Caitlin—my incredible wife, mother to our two amazing daughters, and a fierce advocate for cancer patients everywhere.

<div>For the past 16 years, we’ve shared a life filled with love and joy. But for the last 8 years, cancer has overshadowed our lives. Caitlin was diagnosed with stage 4 clear cell ovarian cancer in 2017, and since then, she has endured countless treatments, surgeries, and setbacks—all while dedicating herself to helping others in the cancer community.

<div>Our daughters are now 12 and 10—ages Caitlin never thought she’d see when first diagnosed. Every milestone is a gift, but her struggle is far from over.

<div><strong>Caitlin’s Impact</strong>

<div>Caitlin isn’t just advocating for herself. She’s advocating for every cancer patient who needs hope, better care, and access to life-saving treatments.
</div>

<div>- She’s worked tirelessly with numerous organisations like Rare Cancers Australia, ANZGOG, and Ovarian Cancer Australia to push for better funding, research, and access to care.
</div>
<div>- Caitlin founded "CareFully", a compassionate care education organisation, helping healthcare providers deliver better support to patients and their families.
</div>
<div>- She’s spoken directly to prime ministers, health ministers, and senators to advocate for equitable access to drugs and support services.
</div>
<div>- Through her advocacy and high profile media campaigns, she’s inspired and supported countless cancer patients, often taking late-night calls to provide advice, comfort, and hope.

<div>Caitlin’s work changes lives—but she does it all largely without pay, recognition, or personal gain.

<div><strong>Why We Need Your Help</strong>

<div>We’re now facing an urgent situation. Standard treatments no longer work for Caitlin. Her cancer has progressed with even more disease in her lungs and lymph nodes. But there is hope—promising new treatments such as the immunotherapy drug combo Ipilimumab with Nivolumab, and the drug TDXD (which targets HER2 markers).

<div>Both of these treatments have shown promising results in clinical trials for clear cell ovarian cancer patients like Caitlin. Unfortunately, these trials are either now closed, or Caitlin isn't eligible for them. The treatments are only available “off-label” at an enormous cost:
</div>

</div>
<ul>
<li>TDXD is <strong>at least</strong> <strong>$10,000 per cycle</strong> every three weeks.
</li>
<li>That’s nearly <strong>$175,000 per year</strong>, with no guarantee of how long it will be effective.
</li>
<li>Ipilimumab with Nivolumab are offered via a co-pay scheme with the Pharma company, which means that Caitlin will have to pay a certain amount before the cost is capped. This could be around <strong>$100,000.</strong>
</li>
<li>Caitlin will also undertake genetic testing of her growing cancer which may also incur costs.
</li>

<div>We’ve self-funded treatments in the past, using up all our savings, accessing Caitlin's life insurance, and relying on the generosity of friends and family. But this time, we need to reach further.
