URGENT: BOTH LEGS BROKEN!

UPDATE SEPT 19TH.

Many people have brought it to my attention that someone going by the name Melearamoss on Tiktok and Meleasky on Instagram is trying to use this GoFundMe as a scam! PLEASE be mindful of the name of the publisher... This person is scamming. 

In regards to Atlas, he has been accepted into Austin Pets Alive. They will be able to get him the care that he needs more quickly. My sole goal with him was to get him care the fastest way possible. APA! were the ones that could get him help the quickest. ❤

He has been named Atlas.

It is 11:42pm, 9/13, as I make this...

He has no name.

He has no home.

He is only 8 months old.

He wass a street cat, just fending for himself.

Now his back legs are broken after assumably being hit by a car.

FIRST X-RAY TAKEN 9/13, night off incident. 

SPINE AND PELVIS ARE STILL INTACT!

ALL ORGANS ARE SAFE AND FUNCTIONAL.

9/14:

- LOTS of conversations between Orthopedic Surgeons and my doctors. 

-Day observation for signs of nerological deficits and other truama-related complications. 

-Atlas had bowel and urinary movements. No abnormalities. 

-he is on antibiotics and pain medication around the clock

9/15:

-Nerological workup performed. Atlas can feel like legs despite the fractures. THIS MEANS HIS NERVES ARE STILL INTACT!

-Atlas underwent general anesthesia to have his the puncture in his right leg addressed.

GOT ESTIMATE FOR SURGERY USING CLINIC SPECIALIST. The soonest it can be performed is 9/21. I am currently seeking other alternatives for a faster resolution.

-still waiting to hear back from several organizations who may be able to help Atlas faster than the 21st. 

-continued pain management and strict cage-rest.
