My name is James, and after thirty-six years of serving part-time, I’ve taken a leap of faith into full-time ministry. Last month, I dedicated myself completely to building a ministry that serves our community. But right now, my wife and I are facing an immediate crisis. She is scheduled for urgent back surgery on May 11th due to a bulging disc, and her recovery will require weeks of bed rest.

Just recently, I recovered from a serious illness that kept me bedridden for a year. Now, as I care for my wife and work to build our ministry together, we find ourselves without a steady income. I’m not working a traditional job because I’m fully committed to establishing this ministry, and my only income comes from a small side business selling pocket knives—which isn’t nearly enough to cover surgery costs, recovery expenses, and the rent we’re behind on. We’re currently living with my wife’s grandmother, and the pressure of overdue rent is weighing heavily on us.

We need help with three things: first, the medical costs for my wife’s surgery and recovery; second, catching up on the rent we owe so we don’t lose our housing during her recovery; and third, keeping us stable while I work to build the ministry’s income to a level that will support us and allow us to bless others. This isn’t just about surgery—it’s about protecting a ministry that’s being born. Your donation will directly support a family in transition and help us establish something meaningful in our community. If you can give anything—no matter the amount—it truly matters. Every single donation brings us closer to stability and allows me to focus fully on the calling I’ve committed to. Thank you for believing in us.
