<div>One day, a missile turned that home into dust. She lost her father, her beloved aunt, two cousins, and the feeling of safety she once knew.

<div>With nothing but her soul and her little dog Coco, she escaped Gaza after months of fear.

<div>Coco, traumatized by the bombings, now needs continuous care. Two weeks after her father’s passing, her sister gave birth to a baby boy with a rare neurological condition, a fragile life that Alaa now helps care for.

<div>Today, Alaa and her mother live in a small rented apartment in a new city, far from everything familiar. She carries the weight of loss, responsibility, and hope.

<div>She still writes, documents stories, and gives back to others, but she cannot carry it all alone anymore.
