<div>Due to this unfortunate event that took place in our residence on March 8th, my son and some so-called friends came in from a night out. Feeling comfortable being home, he made his way to the kitchen to cook for everyone. Somehow, a gunshot went off, and when I went to check what it was, I found my son lying in a pool of blood under his head. It’s told he accidentally shot himself in the right temple, with the bullet coming out the top of his head. And the gun was recovered on his left side about 5 ft away from him under the refrigerator

<div>but the shot was to his right temple

<div>and just a loud pop and no loud sound like the gun fell out of his hand on my ceramic floors
</div>
<div>but “IT WAS ACCIDENTAL “
</div>
<div>He is in critical condition in the ICU, fighting for his life.
</div>
<div>Come to find out, there is footage of his “so-called friends” kicking my back door in 20 minutes after we left for the hospital. They were caught with a lot of my son's belongings, including his safe that had a substantial amount of money he was saving for a very long time to buy his siblings a home out in Wisconsin. that was sopose to be a duorise for us
</div>
<div><strong>My son was a great kid that did not deserve this, especially from his best friend he called his family in my home…</strong>
</div>
<div>And because he has no insurance, the hospital is willing to cover his fees there under the new state act.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, the LTACH (long-term acute care) facility does require a very pricey amount that we cannot cover.
</div>

<div>Whoever knew my son Danny knows he was filled with life, very respectful, accommodating, mannerful, and most of all, loyal to the people in his life!!!
</div>
<div><strong>So I’m asking from the kindness of our hearts to help out with whatever possible to give my son a chance at life again…</strong>
