It was about 5 years ago we welcome our horse Bill into our family after being beyond blessed by the Brown Family.

From day one our son, Nick, and Bill had an undeniable bond. Bill provided Nick confidence, responsibility and purpose, which allowed Nick to realize he had an amazing gift with horses❤️

Nick and Bill became inseparable, he would follow Nick anywhere, through water and he even managed to get Bill to load on a trailer without hesitation, both things Bill usually refused to attempt.

God blessed Bill with quite the personality. He has been such a huge therapeutic resource for Nick, our family, and many others. We can honestly say nothing beats Horse Therapy, we often find ourselves telling people our therapist eats hay!

Recently through X-ray’s we discovered Bill has fractured his leg.

In the past with a diagnosis like this euthanasia is usually the route that is taken but after much research, Bill has options. Bill can undergo a surgical procedure called a Partial Carpal Arthrodesis Fusion. The procedure would be done in Texas by a veterinarian there and he’d also be assisted by another veterinarian from Wyoming.

We normally do not seek outside sources for help, but due to the urgent timeline and cost for Bill’s lifesaving procedure, we are asking for donations. Due to the large cost, we are seeking to raise as much as possible for the estimated $12k to $18k. Unfortunately we know there are no guarantees that we can save Bill in time, so any donations we cannot use will be refunded or anonymous donations will be sent to a local equine rescue.
