PREVIOUS CAMPAIGN:
Syrian refugees are currently facing extreme misery, struggling to provide even the basics for their families; The situation in Lebanon has rapidly deteriorated over the last few months as we grapple with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. The health crisis has pushed over 50% of already vulnerable communities well below the poverty line and the deepening economic disaster is continuing to further impact the lives of those who have already struggled for several years. Families have had their tents destroyed and they've been evicted from their camp due to the inability to pay their monthly rent. Thousands of families have been out of work since the lockdown began and as the value of the local currency continues to plummet (over 80% devaluation over the last 8 months) families fear homelessness and starvation with no hope in sight.
Endless Medical Advantage was established as a primary healthcare organisation and in times of crisis, we remain flexible, adapting to the growing needs of the community; right now, our aim is to provide aid and relief to those who are in severe need resulting from the covid lockdown. There are many, many families who are are going without and a donation will allow us to support hundreds of refugees with rent aid, food packages and other essential goods.
