Urban Yoga is a non heated Yoga, Nia & Barre studio located in Fort Worth, TX since 2010. We have become home to a community of people seeking to try something new, open their hearts, make friends, join a community, and strengthen their bodies.
We are a community that has chosen to protect our students and teachers due to the risks associated with the Coronavirus and as of March 17 we've temporarily closed the studio to public classes. Many of you have reached out to ask how you can help sustain Urban during our closure and we cannot thank you enough for your outpouring of love and support. We've created this GoFundMe opportunity so that we are able to cover costs such as utilities, rent and other miscellaneous costs as well as pay our instructors. Our monthly overhead is roughly $12,000 and our goal is to raise that amount as we estimate we will be closed for another 2-3 weeks. If you are in a position to share, anything will be graciously appreciated. All proceeds will go directly back into operating the studio. Additionally, when we return to a stabalized and secure position we are prepared to pay it forward.
We know so many of you are without jobs or experiencing reduced incomes and other hardships along with us and we understand if you are unable to contribute.
When we all emerge from this period of unknown, we assure you we will return to providing in person meaningful movement practices in our bright sweet home. We can't wait for that day to arrive! Until then, your love and support is received with humble gratitude.
