The House Inc., A Program Dedicated to Youth Urban Arts, Outgrows Current Studio   To Meet Youth Needs, Program Aims to Raise 50K for New Center   Serving over 85 youth in 2020, The House Inc. (THI) is bursting at the seams at its current facility located just South of Madison.The House Urban Arts Initiative Incorporated is the first of its kind; an Urban Arts program surrounded by Urban Initiatives. THI’s largest initiative, The Dynamic Badgerettes(TDB), is a thriving majorette dance program with increased demand to enroll more youth but there isn’t space to accomodate more children.  “We just don’t have the space within our current studio,” says Founder, Clyde Mayberry. THI’s current programming also includes ballet, drama class and adult workout classes.   The House Inc.’s goal for 2021 is to move into a facility large enough so that no child is turned away. This space will not only accommodate the growing enrollment of The Dynamic Badgerettes, but more importantly, it will provide the community an affordable urban arts program where one previously did not exist. “I have been a dancer and coach for many years right here in Madison, Wisconsin, it's always been a passion of mine. I want to ensure that we can continue to make an impact in the lives of youth by tapping into their creativity, and giving them a place to just authentically be themselves,” says founder, Clyde Mayberry. THI believes that every child deserves to be a part of this program that was created specific for the youth and community in which it serves.   THI is open to all youth but focuses primarily on serving Black and Brown children within Madison and the Greater Dane County area. The organization has scouted a new facility that will meet all of their needs, and conveniently, it is still located on the Southside of Madison. With the help of community donations and business sponsorships alike, THI and the children the organization serves will be able to grow and flourish.   As determined by THI’s board, their fundraising campaign “New Year, New Opportunities, The House Inc.” aims to raise $50,000 in 4 months time to accomodate for more studio space, offer tuition assistance and ensure an uninterrupted 2021/2022 program season.   The HOUSE Inc., An Urban Arts Initiative
