Hi, my name is Lillie I am raising funds for my mother Karen Gast. She has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and will be out of work in recovery over the next few months. She's one of the kindest, most caring, and hard working women I've ever met. This week she has undergone a bilateral mastectomy and is currently in recovery before her next procedure and treatment plan. While out of work, she will be without income because as an independent hairstylist, she doesn't have access to paid leave or short-term disability benefits. The goal of this fundraiser is to help pay medical bills, rent, and utilities for her during this process. We're grateful to be surrounded by a wonderful community of family, friends, and neighbors.
