Leah, Rick, and I have decided to ask for help from family for Mom’s funeral costs. She has a small life insurance policy, but it only covers a portion of the funeral home expenses. Since she lives here in the Texas Hill Country with me, and she will be transported by plane to OKC, it is a bit expensive. There are two funeral homes involved, and we have met with them and received quotes and cut costs where we feel we can. We will have the funeral in OKC. We can have a 2-hour viewing during normal business hours for a low price at the funeral home in New Braunfels and then the funeral in OKC. There will not be a viewing in OKC, but it will be an open casket funeral. This way, we can let everyone in TX say goodbye, and if they want to go to the funeral in OKC, they can do that too.

We are only trying to raise enough money to pay funeral homes along with her small life insurance policy.
