Leslie's Cancer Battle

Many of you may or may not know that Leslie has been battling cancer (sarcoma) for the past 2 years. She has been treating with radiation and chemotherapy for two years with little progress being made. Recently, her doctors decided that it was time to become more aggressive and changed her treatment of chemotherapy causing her to become increasingly ill. What seemed like a little bit of hair loss, and a little bit of nausea has now turned into not being able to hold any food down and having a loss of all of her hair. Every day becomes yet another battle with the hopes of one day finding out that her cancer has disappeared. Until that day comes, medical bills continue to pile up and become yet another thing for her to worry about on top of being ill. Leslie has always been the type of person to be there for everyone and do anything and everything possible for anyone and everyone she knows. She has a heart of gold and is always there in times of need for all of her friends and family. With that being said, it's time for her to feel the love and support of her friends and family and at least try to ease some of the burden of her outstanding medical bills by creating and starting a fundraiser for her. She does not have any idea that this is being done because if she did she would be against it...Leslie would never ask for help nor let anyone know what she is going through so it's up to her friends and family to help her in her time of need. While the goal set is at $10,000.00, please keep in mind that ANY amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Hopefully with donations and the sale our homemade cookie / brownie / and soup mix jars, we will be able reach this goal. In addition to starting this website, letters will be sent out in the upcoming weeks with information on ordering homemade cookie / brownie / and soup mix jars. These jars will be available for purchase and made personally by LOGAN. All information on purchases will be enclosed in the letter in addition to a postage paid envelope to return your order. Also enclosed in the mailing will be a blank piece of stationary...hoping that some of you, if not all of you, will take the time out to send a short letter / note to Leslie wishing her well. Imagine the surprise and smile on her face when she starts receiving letters in the mail...a smile that has been missing for quite some time now.
