Amanda's Cancer Fund

In the beginning of October 2020 I went to the doctor due to bleeding, I wasn’t sure where it was coming from. The doctor scheduled a colonoscopy and they found a mass that turned out to be colon cancer.   After a CT scan they found two spots on my liver also. They did a biopsy of the spots of the liver that also turned out to be cancer. With the cancer spreading it was classified as Stage 4 colon cancer (which is terminal). They scheduled me to do a full PET scan which showed some spots on my thyroid. I’m waiting on results from that biopsy.

My oncologist has me starting chemotherapy for roughly two months, then as long as the cancer doesn’t spread anymore they want to do a colon surgery to remove the mass and send me to Fargo to get the two spots on my liver removed. The surgeons said I would be out of work for multiple weeks or months recovering from the different surgeries. After I heal enough from the surgeries my oncologist wants to do more months of chemotherapy.


It hasn’t been an easy road so far and I know it’s only going to get harder but with all the kind words, support, and prayers I know I will power through. Ryan is helping me as much as he can because, as some of you know, he’s fully disabled with Spina Bifida and CRPS.

I started this GoFundMe to help pay for the medical bills, medication, going to Fargo for the liver surgery, and ongoing treatments. I’ve been trying to work this whole time since my income is what we live on mostly and it’s getting harder as I have more treatments. I even went to work while getting a portion of my chemo through a pump. Anything and everything will help and is greatly appreciated.
