A New Ravin'wolf Studio Album

As artists, putting our musical souls on the line for the sake of art and freedom of expression is a risk in today's uncertain times. During the Pandemic, there are financial, health and creative risks we take stepping out as live performers. The last 2 years have threatened our very existence as musicians. Like so many others, we have survived troubled times and emerged ablaze with a creative fire and a batch of songs of which we are very proud.

 

We didn't have much trouble dusting up a colossal collection of classic Ravin'wolf original songs but, we have found it much more difficult to scratch up the money to finish our ambitious project. Our third studio album has been long upon our musical minds. Our loyal fans have waited a long time for these songs. Now they're finally here.

The high mountain sagebrush blues rock n' roll band Ravin'wolf features the original songwriting duo Jamey and Heather Bilyeu based out of Boulder, Colorado. Formed in the mountains of Roslyn, Washington in 1994, Ravin'wolf has recorded and released 2 self-funded, studio albums, 1 live album and 1 Live Extended Play Release. We have performed and toured together for over 27 years with your the support of your rock n’ roll hearts and ongoing support of our previous albums and live shows. We are very grateful to you and look forward to bringing you the latest creation from our musical archives. We are reaching out to our beloved music community & beyond to include our fans and business partners in the creation of our latest project a new Ravin'wolf Album Release, "Upside Down".

 

 

Our recording project is taking place at dynamic recording studios such as ‘Violet Recording’ and 'Altitude Recording', nestled upside the awe-inspiring Front Range of Boulder, Colorado. We have already logged 40 hours of recording time this Fall, having completed the drum tracks. We've had the delight of working with with three of Colorado's most renowned and talented drummers and we are currently knee deep in laying down the guitar tracks that will be forever etched in stone.

An equal amount of time and money coming up in the near future will be dedicated to detailed layering and mixing by the keen ear of our multi-talented engineers, who are helping us give this project the sparkling finishing touches that make each song unique to you, our listening audience.
